By taking out this type of insurance policy, your insurance company will pay out a specific sum of money as indemnity.
It should be noted that subscribing to a critical illness insurance does not replace life insurance, nor does life insurance replace critical illness insurance. These are separate insurance products which protect you from different types of risk.
